The 2021 Arthur Purdy Stout Annual Prize The Arthur Purdy Stout Society of Surgical Pathologists will begin receiving nominations on July 1, 2020 for the 2021 Arthur Purdy Stout Prize to be awarded at the 2021 Spring USCAP Meeting. The prize, in the amount of $2500, is awarded annually to a surgical pathologist under the age of 45. The prize is intended to recognize significant career achievements in Surgical Pathology by young surgical pathologists whose research publications, whether clinical or basic, have had a major impact on diagnostic pathology. Documentation should include three to four publications selected by the applicants or nominator as their most significant contributions as well as a curriculum vitae and a summary of the candidate's achievements in Surgical Pathology. Please submit applications electronically by December 31, 2020. Nominations should be made by a member of the Arthur Purdy Stout Society. The APSS

THE ARTHUR PURDY STOUT STUDY STIPENDSThe Arthur Purdy Stout Society of Surgical Pathologists Study Stipends are designed to allow residents in Pathology to spend one month at another institution to pursue study of a specific area of diagnostic surgical pathology.
The Stipends are for a one-month period of study. A total of $3,500.00 is provided to the resident to cover travel and living expenses. Salary is to be provided by the resident’s regular training program. A total of four stipends will be awarded. We will accept applications beginning July 1, 2020.
